“I was born in Bến Tre Province, Vietnam from very humble beginnings.  Growing up during the Vietnam War, I have witness firsthand the destruction of a country and the devasting deaths and casualties of humanity due to the war.  Being one of the million victims of war and experienced the terrible suffering, my students and I have devoted our lives to find possible solutions for peace and happiness. 

Later in my life’s journey, I arrived in Lumbini, Nepal to establish An Vietnam Phật Quốc Tự, Lumbini, the first Buddhist monastery in Lumbini, Nepal where Lord Buddha was born to pay tribute to the great spiritual teacher whom I greatly admire for spreading virtues of loving kindness and compassion towards humanity.  During the construction of the monastery in Nepal, this beautiful and beloved country experienced a bloody civil war that resulted in more than fourteen thousand deaths and great destruction throughout the land.  We have witnessed the terrible killing and suffering of the people. 

With deep compassion and loving kindness for the people, my students and I have worked very hard with the Nepalis people as well as international organizations to convince all political parties to come together to understand compassion and loving kindness so that Nepal attain peace.  The secret weapon that was utilized to help ended the war was “T.T. Weapon” where I have successfully applied in all aspects of life and found harmony, peace and happiness.  This is a wonderful and historical example for world peace and happiness which many countries can achieve similar results.   

The word “Tình Thương” in Vietnamese means Loving Kindness and this was the secret “T.T. Weapon” that helped ended the war and conflict in Nepal.  It is through this compassionate teaching from Lord Buddha and many great spiritual teachers throughout history that I have successfully applied to help resolve conflicts and hatred among humanity.
